This race of Vampires is Liminal in nature. They are not your typical Vampire as they do not feed on blood or any body fluids. They feed off of negative energy, built-up stagnant energies, bad energies sent to their human whether it’s on purpose or not. They feed off of the negativity produced in day-to-day life and even the stronger negative energies of the metaphysical.
Like most Vampires of lore, they are of pale skin, tall, and incredibly beautiful in appearance. These ethereal appearing beings use the shadows as protection both offensive and defensive. They can be a sultry race though they are not outwardly sensual, some can be.
Their realm is a land of tall, obsidian-like structures and buildings glinting in the permanent moonlight of their world. Their forests are tall like redwoods and stretch on for miles. The animals and beasts within the woods range from friendly to deadly. Their race favors a specific animal as a pet, they call it an Eretalon. They are fox-like creatures as big as Earth wild cats. Their fur variations are generally blacks, greys, and varying combinations of dark colors.
A lot of the Vampires in this realm have an Eretalon as a pet. They are excellent hunters and trackers of magickal footprints. Eretalon’s also protect their owner from mental attacks such as nightmares, overwhelming intrusive thoughts, and more. Eretalon’s bond not only with their Vampiric owner but the Vampire’s human companion as well, protecting them in the process.
